Greetings from our Vice Presiding Bishop

We are again in the season of the Commeration of Pentecost. This year is especially a very monumental moment for it is a time of reflection and remembrance of our Shepherd Mother, the wife of our Senior Presider, our Mother Bertha Sanders. We do want to express the impact and the example she has effectively left upon our fellowship and our lives. We will forever treasure and miss Mother Bertha Sanders.

This is a time of reflection and celebration. For we are celebrating the Festival of Pentecost. We rejoice in the celebration of the last ten days and the culmination of that being Jesus sent back the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit. We’ve set aside ten glorious days to remember what our Lord referred to as the promise of the Father, the Comforter, yes indeed, the Holy Ghost. The power that would come from on high.

Yours in Christ,

Bishop Bernard & Elder Alice Steele
