This Twelveth Annual Pentecost of the Way of Salvation Fellowship provides an exciting opportunity for the Body of Christ. This year has been a year of transition as the Way of Salvation Fellowship has released some members to the loving care of our heavenly Father. And while there have been challenges, our Father is Faithful and he continues to bless the Way of Salvation Fellowship. We need to thank God frequently as we journey each day. The practice makes it possible to pray without ceasing as the Apostle Paul taught. If we are serious about learning to pray continually, the best approach is to thank God in every situation. These prayers of gratitude will provide a solid foundation on which we can build our personal prayer life. Moreover, a grateful attitude makes it easier for us to communion with God. When our mind is focused on thanking God, we have no time for worrying or complaining. If we practice thankfulness, negative thought patterns will gradually become non-existent. Draw nearer to God with a grateful heart and the presence of God will fill you with joy and peace.
Yours in Christ,
Bishop Willie Sanders, Sr.
